Foreword

A foreword is what dictates the tone of a book, it’s the small text like a teasing smell promising a delicious food that didn’t yet leave the kitchen. So, that’s what we have here: a foreword to Faboolos, and what its scroll-to-reveal mechanism can help in storytelling. Let’s then open our eyes and imagine we’re in the middle of a chapter about the love story of a couple that after years and years of companionship and struggles, has decided to get married and is now going round and round in the saloon only to enjoy that moment.

Who will romanticise our lives if not the stories we tell about ourselves? When I first decided to create Faboolos it was very obvious for me how much I missed the calm state I can get when reading (and how little I was doing it due to brainrot state), while still acknowledging that having visual breadcrumbs along the story keep me engaged (and the revealing text, of course). Colors, shapes, genres and moods. Elements to a scene that transport us to different moods.

From an author’s perspective and my not so hidden objectives, I want to write so that the SEO and algorithms can help me reach publishers, other authors, conferences, tutorial-makers, and every place that stories written with these mechanisms can help portraying the message the best way possible. Faboolos got a groove, it's got a meaning (just like Grease, if you know what I mean)! So...with all that said, I’ll see you in the next chapters ;)
